| | DataMine LLC's Software Engineers have nearly thirty years experience
developing complex engineering and scientific models. We can write applications
in C, C++, FORTRAN, Pascal, COBOL and many flavors of Basic and Visual Basic.
Here is a partial list of applications and models we developed.
-
Acoustic Fish Tracker – System to locate aquatic animals (X, Y) in
real-time using acoustic tags. Designed and implemented user interface and
graphical output. Implemented location algorithms from pseudocode. Written
using Borland C++ and Quinn-Curtis real-time graphics and virtual array
libraries.
-
Statistical analysis of responses for nuclear waste siting workshop.
-
Emissions models for incineration of hazardous and municipal solid wastes.
-
Heat balance and critical parameter analysis for electrical generation
facilities.
-
Water balance analysis for coal-fired electrical generation facilities.
-
Managed design and development team creating an expert system language –
AICDV. AICDV, written in C, run on UNIX computers.
-
Team member in design and development of a large-scale geographic data
retrieval system to monitor passenger loading. Assisted in staff training on
data flow system design techniques.
-
Maintained health and welfare databases using COBOL and DASDL.
-
Developed computer programs for analysis of radionuclides and trace elements
in environmental samples. Operated PDP-5/8 computer and radiation detection
equipment.
